Thanks to all who came out yesterday to enjoy a hot summer day with beautiful art  ---displayed in our historic limestone schoolhouse !  A special thanks to Jim Kleekamp , who entertained us throughout the day with his  beautiful classical piano music ! 
We will again have wonderful piano music ---- performed today by Mark Borzillo of Hermann , Mo

I was honored that my piece --- Big Sky over the Bottoms --- was  a finalist in the
Artists' Choice Competition 
So much beautiful art was produced by the more than 100 artists ,
during this 10 day event ! 

   This is my 19th year of participating in Augusta Missouri's spring plein air event ----I am painting  in the Augusta area this coming week and will show the paintings this Saturday ,

Over 100 artists both regional and national, have come together to appreciate, and express through their art ,  this beautiful area of Missouri !

This piece was  inspired by the plein air painting of the beautiful field of butterweed in the Augusta bottoms ,  that I painted during the 2019 Augusta Plein Air Event

Lyon School will open at noon for art lovers, prairie walkers, & friends!
The concert will start at 2 pm -----$12.00 donation at the door goes to the musicians

Tommy & I are headed South for some weeks ----so my subject matter will change from snow to sand ----blue jays to ibis , etc etc ----looking forward to our get a way !
